Twenty-three year old Donielle Rodwell is truly a walking testimony. Growing up in the Philadelphia foster care system and losing her mother are just a few obstacles that could have torn her apart. Rejected, teased, abused and emotionally strained she learned to depend on Jesus to pull her through. Through her dependency on Him, she has learned to channel her love for God to her music, “I know that I went through things so that God can get the glory. Others can get through things by being encouraged through my testimony” the singer/songwriter says. Through her music, Donielle says what many hearts long to say, and God's anointing pierces every song she ministers.
Donielle started singing on the church choir at Deliverance Evangelistic Church when she was ten. This led to many solos and sparked her interest in music. She graduated from the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing arts as a vocal major. There she received many honors and awards for leadership in the vocal department directing/leading the gospel choir and leading Bible Study. She also perfected her skills in music theory and classical training and had the pleasure of performing at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia with the All-City choir. After High School she began as a local Philadelphia artist by fellowshipping with The Whole Armor (TWA), a local ministry of Christian artists.
In 2010 Donielle signed a record deal with RockSoul entertainment. This rising artist mixes the soulful sounds of gospel with the lyrical and musical attribute of contemporary Christian into a genre she calls Christosoul. This union was a blessing from God and the process of working on a project has begun. Donielle has been blessed to be reunited with her biological mother and family, and her life experiences have given her an edge and unique writing perspective. "I'm so excited about this album. My new style is going to shock some but you will love it." She hopes to spread the message of Jesus Christ and salvation to the ends of the earth through her music her life and her testimony.

My favorite scripture is Psalms 119:11, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee" because it reminds me of the access we have to God, deliverance, and freedom.
